How should I prepare for my appointment?
We've all experienced a problem with a car that seems to go away once it gets to the mechanic. In instances where a problem is intermittent, especially regarding noise complaints, take a video!
How are you different from other appliance repair companies?
Process, process, process. We use the best technology available for a smooth experience. We offer 2 hour arrival windows and send a text (unless phone call is preferred) 20-30 minutes before we show up. Upon arrival, we've done our homework and most likely have your problem narrowed down to 2 or 3 components. Once you've agreed to the repair, we don't just swap out the part and leave - we spend time to ensure that all the lint is cleaned from your dryer, that your fridge has a clean condenser, and your dishwasher is correctly installed. Sadly, these are all uncommon practices in our trade.
What can I expect when your technician arrives?
Regardless of the technician, they will always step out of a branded vehicle wearing a black Top Notch polo and gunmetal grey pants. The technician will apply covers to his boots with his tool bag in tow and happily greet your dogs, cats, and kids. He will ask a few questions before he dives into his tools and start his diagnostic procedure. Once a diagnoses is reached, the technician will assemble a quote upfront and upon agreement, start the repair. Once the repair is complete, the technician will review with you what was done, collect payment, and depart - leaving your home a little cleaner than it was when he arrived.
How does pricing work?
Our service call fee is $109. This covers the trip to your home and the diagnoses - and we apply it toward your repair. Once diagnosed, we present a quote to perform the repair based on our flat rate system. We do not have an hourly rate so rest assured that whether the repair takes 20 minutes or 2 hours, your cost won't change.
